Prof. Qinmin Yang

Zhejiang University, China

Yang Qinmin, Qiushi distinguished professor of Zhejiang University, doctoral supervisor, was selected as a Changjiang Scholar of the Ministry of Education. Mainly engaged in industrial data intelligence, renewable energy and energy internet, intelligent control system theory and other research work. In the past five years, he has presided over more than 10 national projects/topics, including joint key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, general projects, 863 projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, intelligent manufacturing projects of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and tens of millions of horizontal projects. He has published more than 100 papers and 3 chapters in English, and has been selected into the "Annual Scientific Influence Ranking" of Stanford University and Elsevier Database in the United States, ranking among the top 2% scientists in the world. Obtained 4 American patents and more than 80 invention patents in China. At present, he is a senior member of IEEE, member of ASME and APNNS, and vice chairman of ADPRL Professional Committee of China Automation Society.

Assoc. Prof. Jiashen Teh

Jiashen Teh received the B.Eng (first class honors) in electrical and electronic engineering from Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Selangor, Malaysia, in 2010 and the Ph.D degree in similar field from the University of Manchester, Manchester, UK, in 2016. Since 2016, he has been a Senior Lecturer/Assistant Professor at the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Penang, Malaysia. In parallel with his USM position, he was also an Adjunct Professor at the Green Energy Electronic Center of Taipei University of Technology (Taipei Tech) for a year in 2018. Since 2019, he has been an Adjunct Professor at the Intelligent Electric Vehicle & Green Energy Center of Chung Hsing University (NCHU). In 2020, he was appointed as the Technical Director of UPE-Power co. ltd.. His research interests include probabilistic modelling of power systems, grid-integration of renewable energy sources and reliability modelling of smart grid networks. Dr. Teh is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) conferred by the Engineering Council, UK, and The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), a registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), a registered Professional Technologist (P.Tech) with the Malaysia Board of Technologist (MBOT), and a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) and IEEE Power and Energy Society.
